    Match Report ~ Lydney 2 – BAC2 4

    “Does anyone know where my ball bag is?” was this weeks first prematch kit related text message.  With the location of Sophie’s ball bag still a mystery, the BAC 2nds headed off to Lydney for a mid morning away game.  Lydney is a tropical paradise which is reached via international travel, the tourist board can provide hotel recommendations.

    In addition to the 3 points up for grabs this week, we also had an opportunity to see why Lydney were our closest rival for the title “Best teas in the league”. (more…)

    We will be meeting at The Bishops (not to be confused with the home of Bish) on Gloucester Rd at 7.30pm.

  • BAC2 v Old Bristolians3 ~ 06/10/12

    A sluggish start from BAC2 meant we were 0-3 down after 20 minutes.  We warmed up eventually and started to put a few in the back of their net, but they also continued to put some past us.  Overall result, we lost 6-3, here are some photos from the match. (more…)

  • Match Report 22/09/12 BAC 0 – 3 Gloucester

    Half an hour before push back, there didn’t appear to be any first teamers around ready to warm up but it turned out it was because they were all already on the pitch playing for the seconds.

    Today’s opponents were newly promoted Gloucester and BAC knew it would a tough game. For the majority of the first half, BAC seemed up to the challenge as the teams were evenly matched. Gloucester looked to prevent Tinny from getting any shots on goal and, as a result, BAC were unable to capitalise on some flowing breaks forward. (more…)
