So with our captain Lisa abandoning us for a jolly in France, Leanne doing her back in (the rumour has it she hurt her back bending over looking at her newly waxed toes), and Katie being on trial for being Welsh, we once again had to go to our cryogenic freezer store and defrost Ali Short for pitch duties. Well the summer league is here already…..
Cue massive rain showers and howling winds! No change there then!! BAC took on Old B’s at Coombe Dingle this week, for the first twenty minutes we could hardly see anything because of the rain but we battled on through the storm and gradually the weather improved as did the hockey.
