Result: 3-3 Draw

BAC VS. Gillingham (is that how you spell it?)BAC struggled to get into the game as quickly as Gillingham, who unfortunately scored a below average (at best) goal after just minutes of play. BAC were now riled & ready for revenge. Debbie made a great run which resulted in a short corner for BAC. For once Holly hit the ball out fast enough for tinny to score a brilliant goal, making the score 1-1.

At this point BAC we’re absolutely gassed & hungry for more goals. 12 minutes in and Tinny used her exceptional skills to score another beautiful goal with a quick turn & hit, taking the score to 2-1. At this point despite Gillinghams best efforts BAC were on a roll. The work rate was high & everyone was working hard to create more goal opportunities. Ceri made a dash up the line, and released an early ball to Tinny who danced

round the Gillingham defenders and slipped the ball To Sledger who scored the 3rd BAC goal of the game, bringing the score to a 3-1. At this point Gillingham we’re fighting to get back into the game & managed to win themselves a short corner. Despite a fast ball out to the top of the (holly should take some tips) the ball was slipped left but was called for being too high. Tinny & Kingers were working hard upfront and managed to create more short corner opportunities for BAC by winning anther short corner. Unfortunately the ball was too slow out & the opportunity was missed. (Oh Holly) Gillingham were ready and made some great runs down the pitch, but luckily Meg & Alaina managed to clear the ball wide. With half time fast approaching, Tinny & Blockey worked well Together taking shots on goal, one of which unfortunately went just shy of the left post. Gillingham weren’t done yet. They proceeded to make a break, slipped round BAC and scored to make it 3-2 just before the half time whistle blew. After half time, BAC knew they had more to give. Gillingham started well applying pressure and winning a short corner. The ball went straight to the top & of the D but was hit just wide. BAC knew they needed to bring it back again & made a break up the left. Tinny played a great ball across the D but Liz couldn’t quite manage to connect. However not all was not lost, quickly after BAC won another short corner as a Gillingham player was sent off. The ball came out too slow from the injector (again lol) and despite Tinny & Debs best effort the shot was saved. Shortly after Sally (who was awesome) made a run up the left and made a pass To Sledger who managed to win another BAC short corner. Blockley took a shot from the top but it was saved. Gillingham made another break shortly after but BAC make a great save with Holly clearing the ball. BAC tried to get themselves back in the game again with another short corner, Tinny battled in the D but no result.

Gillingham we’re battling hard at this point and made a few breaks into the BAC D. They won a free hit at the top of the D but BAC defend well, but a short is given. In the last few minutes of the game and the pressure was on. Despite BAC not all having their masks on the short is taken and it given Gillingham a 3-3 draw.
