BAC started quickly & got short corner after short corner without any success. Stroud caught us with a quick break and we were struggling to keep up with Stroud’s Whippet, good keeping by Becky Bullet stopped it going in. BAC created so much pressure on the Stroud defence but we were struggling to get the ball in the back of the net. Finally the pressure pays off & from a short Tinny’s shot gets through.

BAC were then on a roll getting a quick second from Tinny. Stroud were still creating break away chances but the diving Becky the Bullet saved it. BAC were still applying pressure & lots of short corners. Umpire should have blown but allowed play to go on & Sledger was switched on to follow the ball & put it in the back of the net 3-0 at half time.

BAC started the second half with yet another short but no joy. Stroud were still creating chances & had a short but the defence stood strong. BAC were now starting to get the passing going & created a chance for Lisa which I thought the keeper saved brilliantly, however the umpire gave a 16!

Back break again however poor old Lisa got tripped up with a stick, she really is in the wars today, already playing on with her poorly hand, well she has that Welsh blood you know made of hard stuff.

BAC on the break yet again & Tinny puts the ball in the back of the next again 4-0. Another short stopped by Lisa back to Tinny & yes in the back of the net 5-0! Sledger storms through the middle of the pitch, passes to Tinny & yes goal 6-0! Stroud were still pushing & Becky the Bullet got penalised for kicking the ball whilst out of her area, however her standing foot was still in the D. Oh well short given to Stroud & unfortunately BAC were not able to keep there clean sheet as it deflected in. That’s how it ends 6-1 to BAC Ladies.
