Wick2 v BAC2 (12/02/22)
Result: 1-2 Win

I think Dot’s arctic coat must have doubled up as a sleeping bag. Must have done a dummy run the night before to find the pitch and decided to camp out in the car. I cant think otherwise how she got to the pitch first and without getting lost #neverhappendbefore
BAC2 V BAPS (08/01/22) 3-0
Reporter on the scene: Ned
What a great start to the year girls with a really hard fought win. I’m buzzing!
Awful weather and after a chat inside we thought we’d best go out and face the elements
Instructions were for a high intensity game from the start and tbf that’s what we did for the 1st 15 mins. Some great link up play with Kat and Vic saw Vic give us a very early lead in the first few mins. Baps (and what seemed like their 10 subs) were always going to come back at us and with the game being quite frantic they had a good spell of possession and although the defence held strong and Becky was on fire today we were lucky to go into half time still with our narrow lead. We regained our composure with words from coach Chris and into the 2nd half we went… We maintained a level of calm today despite some interesting not so text book tackles!! Anyway, we had a really good spell for a big chunk of the 2nd half and with good link up play with Charity and Kat I managed to bang two more goals in. Quite liked my smash from the top of the D even if I say so myself 😉
Despite the score line being 3 – 0 it was a really close game. End to end for most of the game. Thankless running from the midfield (Charity you were a tank today and did well against their playmaker) the defence holding strong and the forwards keeping up pressure up front we so deserved the 3 points. Back to teas to dry off and warm up…. Player of the match was a three way tie with Charity Vic and Kat tho Becky and Vac were in the mix too. Well done girls today!
Marlborough V BAC 08/01/22 Score 3-3
BAC got up for our earliest start of the season so far. With the car heating turned up and our raincoats at the ready, BAC headed to Marlborough for a re-arranged league fixture from last year.
The game started positively with BAC holding firm despite some early pressure from Marlborough and early chances for both teams should have seen the ball in the back of the net.
BAC v Frome (20/11/21) 7-2
MATCH REPORT (Meg Jones): A whopping win against Frome for BAC today. We went out with the bare 11, including Covid recoverers and no Sarah (goalie)! Thanks to Alice for stepping up to help us out (legend!!!). The game started with an early goal for BAC, scored by Sledger, starting the game on a strong footing. First half saw us coming out hard with fantastic triangles up both the left and right, winning 4(?) shorts and 2 more goals from Kingers and Tinny, the later of whom scored her post-Covid debut goal from a short corner. Frome’s counterattack was quick off the mark, and we conceded to a two-on-one with the goalie making it 3-1, but another goal from Tinny saw us end the first half 4-1.
