Outdoor hockey can resume from 29 March:
- Training can start once organisers ensure all guidance is in place.
- England Hockey recommends a maximum of 30 people in any one group, but more than one group can use a pitch as long as social distancing can be maintained outside of play and between the groups.
- Matches (both 11-a-side and small sided) can resume once organisers can ensure all guidance is in place. Multiple matches can take place at the same venue as long as social distancing can be maintained between groups outside of matches.
Suspension of Club and Community Hockey
England Hockey has announced that the national lockdown announced on Saturday will mean no club or community hockey from 5 November until after 4 December at the earliest, therefore no league matches will take place during this time.
The latest government announcement orders all sports facilities to close and therefore club and other community hockey activity is suspended until the game is in a position to resume. http://www.englandhockey.co.uk/news.asp?itemid=49938&itemTitle=Announcement%3A+Club+Hockey+in+England+suspended+until+after+4+December§ion=22
South Glos2 v BAC2 Match Report
BAC v Bath Buccs3 Match Report 24/10/20
By Meg Jones
Result – 2-5
Today was our first league game of the season and BAC started strongly with good spirits.
– we put together some good attacks up into the D with Tinny, Briony and Sledger creating great spaces but sadly didn’t convert
– Bath began to up their pressure with slick passes across the pitch and lots of player interchange stretching us but we held our own for a long period of time but sadly before half time they managed to get through on three occasions.
