Old Bristolians3 3 – BAC 7 (04/03/17)

Buoyant from their 7-1 win the previous week, BAC were determined to continue their winning ways.
It didn’t take long for BAC to take control and with some quick runs by the midfield; the BAC forwards found themselves with opportunities in the D. Perseverance paid off and by half time Tinny had put away two goals and Sledger the third.

It was an interesting start to the day what with ‘RatGate’ and the setting up the pitch like it was the first game of hockey ever to be played at Abbeywood. We welcomed Kat to the team for the first time this season and after a lengthy chat from Kingers about the weather and chances of rain – detail curtesy of BBC News Carol, we got stuck into the warm up.
BAC 5 – Wick 3 18/02/17

So we were back at Abbeywood this week for our re arranged game against Wick.!!
BAC started really well after a good warm up, kept possession really well and put the Wick defence under pressure early on and were rewarded with an early goal, tinny and Lisa b worked well and Lisa b found Kingers who score 1-0.
Yate3 1 – BAC 6

BAC headed to Yate this week for a league fixture against Yate 3s. The first half was slow and we didn’t get the start we wanted. Apart from a couple of penalty corners it was dull viewing from the side-line…probably.
Genuinely nothing to report… but wait for the next bit…
