Match Report ~ BAC2 3 vs Westberries4 1
Last home match of the season and BAC2 were keen to squeeze their territorial advantage to gain another 3 points after the previous weeks 3-1 loss to Westberries3. Today BAC2 were playing the Westberries4 side, a charming bunch of ladies with a skipping themed warm-up routine.

As is becoming my custom, I arrived half way through the 1st half to provide live tweet reports and cheer on the magnificent ladies of the 2nd BAC team. To set the scene, it was another match in freezing temperatures, supporters were few and the goals were less being 0-0.
Match Report ~ BAC 4 – 0 Yate2
In the equivalent fixture this time last year snow lay on the ground. There was nearly a repeat this year with an attempt at hail then a downpour of freezing cold rain as soon as the words “let’s have a team photo” were uttered!
Match Report ~ BAC 3 – 0 Firebrands3
The morning started with some lively banter about women’s ‘stuff’. This left Katie a touch mortified. How could we discuss such things. Back to the hockey. Our last home league game. A crunch game. We had to win as it was still mathematically possible for us to be relegated! ….and we’re off.
